Membership
 CREDO
is a membership organization and we serve our members to promote excellent
dance education in the region of DC, Maryland and Virginia. CREDO
encourages the involvement of dance educators of diverse backgrounds,
styles of dance, expertise, and avenues of dance delivery. There are a
variety of membership options to accommodate a diverse constituency. Membership
in CREDO provides automatic membership
in the National Dance Education
Organization in a dual membership partnership. Membership
also includes a subscription to the Journal of Dance Education except
where indicated.

Individual
Memberships
Professional
Membership - $95
Includes dance educators, dancers and choreographers, dance specialists
in education or medicine/science and technology, administrators, and advocates
for dance.
Student
Membership -
$35
Includes matriculated K-12, undergraduate and graduate students.
Proof of student status is required at time of enrollment and at each
subsequent renewal. (subscription to JODE is additional)
Retiree
Membership
- $55
Includes persons retired from a professional career in dance or dance
education.(subscription to JODE is additional)
Institutional
Memberships
Studio,
PreK-12, Arts Organization - $150
Includes Studios, Schools of Dance, K-12 Programs, Cultural Institutions,
Community Organizations, and institutions that support dance programs
or
advocate for dance.
Higher
Education Membership - $200
Includes, universities, colleges, community colleges, and institutions
that matriculate undergraduate or graduate students.
Businesses/Corporate
Membership - $300
Includes members of the business, corporate or commercial community that
supports the philosophy of CREDO.
Membership includes discounts in advertising and a free exhibit table
at CREDO Conferences.
State
Affiliation with National Dance Education Organization
All membership except Business/Corporate Memberships
will receive
automatic membership in the National
Dance Education Organization with
all rights and privileges of NDEO membership.
